Mica powder is a new electrode coating material in welding industry. Its unique combination of chemical elements can improve the arc stability, reduce splashing, improve the technological properties of electrodes and solve the common problems in electrode production that the coating material may crack and peel off easily. 3%-5% mica powder is advised in application of E4303 and E4313 acid electrodes. Huayuan Mica--Special for Electrodes provides some elasticity and plasticity and improves the flow performance of coating materials in the powder tank.It also serves as an alternative of titanium dioxide and thus significantly reducing cost.
