Dry Processing & Wet Processing

There are two different manufacturing processes of Mica Powder-dry grinding without water and wet grinding with water.The manufacturing steps of dry ground mica powder are as following:Mining--Selection--crushing--Refinement and winnowing--sieving --iron removal-Packing.

Dry ground mica powder has the advantages of low cost,large output, heavy loose bulk density.The manufacturing process of wet ground mica powder  needs a few more steps (wash the selected material with flowing water,drying,removing impurities).Compared with dry-grinding, it is less efficient,smaller production capacity and higher cost,but with large aspect ratio ,high purity and light loose bulk density which make its performance much better than dry ground mica.
